We are deeply distressed to announce the death of Giulio Andrea Meroni, the founder of Serrature Meroni, passed away yesterday in Marseille at the age of 93 years.

 

A true gentleman indeed, Giulio Andrea Meroni founded Serrature Meroni in 1945 and lead it to its first successes in less than ten years, across the great expansion of ' 70 and the two following decades, before leaving the company and moving for a well deserved rest in Montecarlo, where he has happily lived in good health its last years.

 

The love and the tie for his entrepreneurial creature has never gave up and he has always kept tight contact with the company and its plans, with the same participation and the same affection of a father proud of his son independence. In the same way Serrature Meroni has always been grateful to his founder: for his vision, which lead the company to an outstanding level and for his ability to launch in the industrial world a project where his spirit is still living. Also for this, it is with a sincere and deep participation that all the company want to join in conveying its sympathy to the member of his family.
