Door & Hardware Institute

 Created in 1934, the DHI has more than 5000 members in the United States, Canada and the whole world, comprising non only hardware producers but also architects, designers and other professional of this sector. DHI is a benchmark for the north American marketplace and cooperates in defining the security and quality standards.

 

Apart from gathering the most eminent players and helping them make business together, DHI plays an important role in the education and up-dating of professionals through coursers, seminars, stages and, of course, the prestigious annual conference. The exposition event taking place during the conference is a must for the North American market players; this year it takes place in the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center from November 7 to 15 2008.

 

This membership represents a happy come back for Serrature Meroni. Already in the early 90ies did Meroni join the DHI, as first and sole Italian company. The new stamina and impulse for the export markets explains for this renewed membership, which is to mark a significant milestone in the company's attitude towards the North American market.
